If we had distance protection, bots would not spawn in our faces. I've attached a copy of the respawn plugin, just in case you want to poke around.ĭuring the games last night, there were a couple instances where it would have been really nice if our respawn plugin had distance protection in it. Not a big deal but, if bothers anybody enough, I can check into how to disable the message. I think it's just a damage message that was part of one of the other files I needed to get the plugin working. The Sernix servers do have medic functionality but I don't think it's part of the plugin I used. When you're injured now, you get a message telling you to call for a medic. There is one downside to the modified respawn plugin though. That leads me to believe the new version of the plugin is working like we want. And there were at least 3 more bots roaming the area. I didn't make checkpoint A this time but, before I died, I collected 7 kills.

Previously on our server a solo player would get 5 bots for the checkpoint and 5 bots for the counter. By the time I died, I had a total of 18 kills. But, then got crushed in a solo counter attack. On my first attempt I was able to cap checkpoint A. I'm not 100% sure on that because after loading the new plugin, I never made it past the the first checkpoint. I finally found a modified version of of the respawn plugin, used on the Sernix Insurgency serves that seems to work. But, on every other objective after that, it really didn't seem like we had more bots. On the first objective on the first map after a restart, there were extra bots. I played on our server some this evening and it seemed like the respawn plugin was not working correctly.
